Bella's Bio

   Bella is very driven to play and loves to chase a frisbee and jump up to make the catch look good. When we got her at eight weeks old we were raising a Canine Companion for Independence,CCI, puppy for service work. Kiki taught Bella how to track a frisbee. For four months Bella watched and chased her big sister while Kiki caught the disc. At six months old and Kiki gone to work as a service dog Bella got her chance to catch a disc for the first time. When I threw the disc she tracked it like a champ and jumped up with a mid air body twist and caught it about five feet in the air. I had never seen Kiki even jump for the disc so I was very impressed to say the least. About six months later we went to Woofstock a CCI fund raiser and saw the Disc Dogs of Southern Cal do a demo and we were hooked from the moment on!! We joined the club and went to our fist competition a few months later.
